May 5th of every year is “World Hand Hygiene Day”. The event was initiated by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2009 and has been celebrated under a different theme each year. Aiming at advancing the goal of maintaining a global profile in hand hygiene, Saniswiss has strengthened the concept and exposing the importance of frequent hand washing for protecting any infection worldwide.

As Covid-19 has still been raging around the world, it is necessarily important to continue paying close attention to our hand hygiene. Therefore, Goldwell Capital actively promotes global health education through making contributions to public health protection and social health development.

The theme of this year’s World Hand Hygiene Day is “Unite for Safety, Clean Your Hands”.  On that day, Goldwell Capital Chief Executive Officer Mr. George Black was invited to join a charity campaign which was held at Children’s Restaurant (LRDE) and hosted by Saniswiss Distribution Cambodia which provides internationally-recognized Swiss disinfection products and services.

During the event, Mr. George Black said that, “On this special day, I am delighted to participate in this Love Campaign with all of you as well as to spread the concept of healthcare. Specifically, this action meaningfully supports the local children to establish and strengthen the awareness of hygiene, to master the correct hand washing technique, and to develop a good habit of washing hands frequently.”

The LRDE campaign this time fruitfully conveyed all healthcare messages through a bunch of interesting activities including singing, dancing, games, presentations and standard hand washing demonstrations. At the same time, numerous kind organizations also donated materials for the LRDE children daily needs.  The enthusiastic morning encouraged them to pay more attention to health matters, education and development.

Mr. George Black added that, “Goldwell Capital has always adhered to the public welfare concept of ‘Taken from the Community, Giving Back to Society’ and unremittingly called for more social forces to participate in and create a good social atmosphere of charity, mutual love and care.”

Looking back to the past, Goldwell Capital actively organized and contributed to a series of health education and charity activities. Moreover, in the future, Goldwell Capital will continue to fulfill its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), spreading love and care as well as supporting the development of public welfare undertaking.
